UNITY SC // FFF ACADEMY SG
We are proud to embark on an exciting partnership with local women’s football club UNITY SC.
There are two teams under the Arion name, Still Aerion and Royal Arion.
They participate in the FAS Women’s Premier League (WPL) and the FAS Women’s National League (WNL) respectively. Most recently, Still Aerion were runners-up in the 2019 FAS Challenge Cup.
Arion FC has been active since 2005, making them one of the longest-running women’s football clubs in Singapore.
The French Football Academy coaches will train both teams to ensure all players receive high quality trainings.
Arion FC is home to many women’s national team footballers, such as Pamela Kong and Stephanie Gigette A Dominguez, as well as members from the national youth (U-19) team, such as Summer Chong and Siti Nurerwadah Erwan.
The club welcomes players from all walks of life, regardless of skill level or experience. This strongly resonates with the FFA’s philosophy as we are committed to creating programs that encourage improvement.
We share a common goal, therefore we have full confidence in Arion FC as the official ambassadors of our girls’ football program in Singapore.
Arion FC’s club motto perfectly sums up what we want to achieve together with them. We want to reach greater heights in women’s football and we want all our players to play “Better, Stronger and Braver”.
Through this partnership, players from Arion FC and team manager Chris Yip-Au will work closely with our Girls’ Program. Selected players in our program will have the exclusive opportunity to join Arion FC for trainings and future competitions. This will give our players the chance to play at the highest level, with some of the best players in Singapore.
